3 Theme Studio Photoshoot (ft. @christopherleslie)

Anyone who has met me and had at least one conversation with me knows my heavy interest in astrology/zodiac signs. People are always astounded that my interest only started in May 2019, yet I base so much of my thinking on the astrological system. Then, they proceed with the typical questions, “wait so do you hate certain people just because they’re a certain sign?” or “yeah but isn’t this just another way to judge people: by their sign?” I have one thing to say to all of these subjective questions:

Yes, but not because I go out of my way to pin bad characteristics to any specific signs. It’s because I’ve met tons of people and seen their birth charts then allowed them to proceed on with their normal behavior and personality. I’m waiting for people to prove me wrong about my initial judgment regarding their sign. But they rarely do. And the ones that do, I call my besties 🤠🤠.

One of my favorite signs is Virgo. Not only because I have Virgo in my Venus (meaning the way I love, what I’m attracted to, and my fashion sense is affected by Virgo characteristics), but because so many amazing people I meet just happen to be Virgos. My roommate, Katie, who is one of the kindest and most generous people I’ve met is a Virgo. The photographer featured in today’s blog, Christopher Leslie, is also a Virgo. 🤠🤠🤠

(I’m a Libra!)

Working with Christopher was one of my favorite modeling experiences. Virgos are known for being good, if not amazing, at what they love doing, whether it’s professional work or hobbies. And Christopher’s Virgo skills like assisting with poses, the photography process itself, as well as editing clearly fit this stereotype. The three sets/outfits we shot turned out beautiful and the quality is unlike anything I’ve seen! Check them out below 🙂

Blouse with Jeans Outfit

For this outfit, I chose a sheer top with a dragon print on it and paired it with a pair of American Eagle ripped skinny jeans. For shoes, I wore my Steve Madden pink wedges, because the reptile texture of the shoes matched the dragons on the shirt in my opinion. Although these were pretty standard headshot pictures, I learned essential tips and new poses from Christopher!

Formal Outfit

For this outfit, Christopher had originally asked me to bring a nice going-out dress, but I thought pairing this long sleeved turtle neck top that says “90% angel” around my neck with a beautiful green floral skirt would look really cool. I get a psychologist vibe from how the pictures turned out with the couch in the background 🤪🤪.

Swimsuit

For those that may not know, Christopher shoots amazing swimsuit pictures! And the proof is below–these pictures turned out so elegant and I adore the end result. I went with a red theme, so I paired my red Shein heels with the red bikini top. The black bikini bottoms I chose to pair with this outfit definitely balanced out the loudness of the red. The red headband was actually a last minute decision when I found a red scarf at HTX Studio 409 and decided it would look cute as a headband 🤪🤫.
